Where we help

Heat Pumps in Cambridge and Neighboring Towns

Cambridge, Somerville, Boston, Arlington, Watertown, Brookline, Medford, Everett, Newton, Charlestown and Belmont, where Belmont Light runs its own incentives.

HVAC Financing Cambridge helps homeowners in Cambridge and the surrounding cities and towns move from oil, gas or electric baseboard to heat pumps, with the rebate and loan paperwork handled alongside them. The houses around here are mostly old: two-families, triple-deckers, colonials and capes with radiators and an oil tank in the cellar. The recipe stays the same in every town: size the system, confirm the utility, collect the incentives and install.

One approach everywhere

Heat loss measured, a written proposal and paperwork help, whether you live in a city apartment building or a suburban cape.

Your utility sets the rebate

Eversource and National Grid customers generally qualify for Mass Save. Belmont Light customers follow that light plant's program.

City lots and small yards

Tight side yards and shared walls call for careful outdoor unit placement, and we plan for both.

How Programs Differ Around Middlesex County

The first conversation answers two questions: where is the home, and who supplies its electricity and gas? Most neighbors buy from Eversource or National Grid, and that makes both Mass Save incentives and 0% financing possible. Belmont is different. Belmont Light, the town's municipal light plant, offers its own heat pump incentives rather than the Mass Save electric ones, and we plan around them. Belmont owners whose gas is billed by one of the two big utilities may still be able to use the HEAT Loan. Either way, you will know which programs fit before anyone comes out.
